C.K. Steefel appeared in two episodes of Seinfeld, forever lauded as one of the greatest American TV shows. I asked her everything you could wish to know.
"A lot of people think women can’t be funny." I agree that people have this opinion--too many people; however, I don't think that these people are thinking. Because, CK, you are hilarious. If people read you and don't draw that conclusion, then their two brain cells are likely competing for third place.
That was so fun, and how cool is it to read writing from a character on a show I've seen about a hundred times through my brother and my husband? It was one of the funniest shows on TV, they just don't make em like that anymore.
Thank you for your support! ☺️ I'm proud of the fairly even split between men and women on the blog. I enjoy writing my interviews with women, and people seem to like reading them just as much.

OMFG the cigar store Indian episode?!? I had no idea CK!
I should open every conversation with it. Hehe.

This is so cool. Thanks Dan and CK for doing this.
Thank you Matt! ☺️ And thank you for reading.
As one of those funny (yes, we are!) women whom CK has encouraged, I'm so pleased to see this! She's the best, and I really enjoyed your interview!
Thx, Amanda.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 😁 Humour is a universal human language. Only people aren't funny think women can't be funny.
So great to see more women of comedy featured on Substack! Love CK and this piece!!!
Thx, Alisa.
